Many parents & guardians worry about the risks posed to their children by people
in the community who may harm them. At Adventure Island & Sea-Life Adventure we
take these concerns very seriously. We also believe that people in the community
can play a part in reducing the risks. Together we can make a difference.
Here at Adventure Island & at Sea-Life Adventure we operate a Home Office approved
scheme backed up by the NSPCC called “Southend Safer 4 Kids”.
Southend Safer 4 Kids brings together trained staff and named police officers responsible
for community safety in order to reduce the risk of harm.
There are many staff at both Adventure Island & Sea-Life Adventure trained to be
observant and aware of the safety of children and young people. There is a direct
police protocol in place backed up by over 100 CCTV cameras in place to deal with
behaviour which causes any concern.
You too can help by telling staff immediately if you see anyone behaving in a manner
that causes you concern.
